March 29th, 2012, the delegation from MIT headed by Prof. L. Rafael Reif, Provost of MIT visited Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT), CAS. Prof. JIANG Mianheng, president of CAS Shanghai, Marjorie Yang, Chairman of Esquel Group, YU Yuehui, vice director of SIMIT attended the meeting.

Prof. JIANG Mianheng hosted the meeting, prof. XIE Xiaoming gave an introduction on superconductivity and prof. JIAO Jiwei delivered a report on MEMS. Prof. Reif showed interests in both fields and had a discussion with the scientists.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the laboratory.
