Dr.Jiang Mianheng, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of Shanghai Branch, met with the delegation of Drexel University headed by Dr. John A. Fry, President of the University.

 

During their stay in Shanghai, the delegation enjoyed their visit to Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences, Pasteur Institute of Shanghai, Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility and Shanghai Advanved Research Institute. The University and CAS institutes showed great interest in exploring possible collaboration in various fields such as bio–sciences and material sciences. Besides, an attempt was further discussed concerning technology transfer and joint education programs.
