Dr.Jiang Mianheng, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of Shanghai Branch, met with the delegation of Council for Scientific and Industrial Research （CSIR ）headed by Chairman of the Board Francis Petersen and CEO Sibusiso Sibisi.

During their stay in Shanghai, the delegation enjoyed their visit to Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Shanghai Institute of Advanced Research.CSIR and CAS showed great interest in exploring possible collaboration in various fields such as biomedicine, resource and environment, climate change, energy and materials, nanotechnology, robotics, information technology.
